Registration Open for 2023 Winter Youth Retreat

We will be gathering Friday February 3rd to Sun Feb 5th for the 2023 Winter Youth Retreat. The Winter Youth Retreat is a time for campers currently in grades 7-12 to come to camp, enjoy worship, time in nature, and have fellowship with one another. The theme this year is “Legacy”. We will be using the story of Abraham and Psalm 78 to explore this idea and what it means for us in different times of our lives. Lara Jean Munger hired as Facilities Manager

Congratulations to Lara Jean Munger – Camp Tamarack’s new Facilities Manager starting Jan 1st, 2023! Lara is a part of a multigeneration Camp Tamarack family who has supported camp as campers, leaders and sponsoring property updates. Most recently, Lara has been part of the leadership team that led our Sr. High Camps as well as our Winter Youth Retreats. She has shared many different talents and skills such as leading us through yoga sessions and supporting Linda in the kitchen this past summer with her culinary and dishwashing expertise. All Region Clergy are invited to some time away at Camp Tamarack from Sunday, January 29th, in the evening, through Tuesday, January 31st, 2pm The purpose of our time together is to provide space for clergy post-holidays to relax, rest, and seek spiritual direction or coaching should they desire it. End of Year Retreat for Young Adults

Congratulations Linda Jolly – Hospitality Manager

Congratulations to Linda Jolly who will be adding to her Head Cook duties at Camp Tamarack as our Hospitality Manager. Linda will be responsible for camp security, housekeeping, receiving rental groups and overall supporting the Camp Tamarack mission and vision. Linda has been an incredible asset to Camp Tamarack the past several years as assistant cook and head cook – plus all the “other duties as assigned” she helped with this summer. She is a past camper, leader and makes cinnamon rolls as big as your head!
