In October of 2024 at our Annual Gathering we officially launched the Bounce Back plan for Camp Tamarack. The goal is for us to raise $1.2 million over the next three years ($400K/year) to support many updates and projects to elevate camp in four main areas:
Environmental Restoration: Waterfront area updated to fix the swim area and boat house, endangered animal habitat to attract and sustain species such as the Blue Karner butterfly , managed forestry plans
as well as removal of invasive plant species.
Safety and Security: Renovation of camp spaces like updated siding and roofs for cabins and safety initiatives including cameras and psychological safety for all.
Re-creation: Updating the basketball court. summer youth programming and elevating/increasing retreats for all ages.
Worship: Converting cabin 13 to a year round chapel facing the lake
