In Iceland, Jolobokaflod is a holiday celebrated on Christmas Eve which translates literally as "Christmas Book Flood." We are having our own Jolobokaflod festivities at Book Camp November 30-December 2 (Thursday through Saturday) at Camp Tamarack! Bring books to read, books to give away, wear your Christmas pajamas and Ugly Christmas Sweater and join us for a fun-filled time for all book lovers preparing for the Advent/Christmas season!

We are glad you are joining us for this clergy retreat with the theme: "Of the Heart and Minds Delight” (from the hymn For the Beauty of the Earth) where we will be focusing on self-care for clergy and equipping you for the challenges you face each day. This is a partnership between the ABC – Metro Chicago Region and the ABC-WI Region. The majority of the costs will be covered by a Palmer Grant the Regions have received. The cost will be $50/person if you are staying overnight and $25/person if you do not need lodging.
We have reserved a certain number of single and double occupancy rooms. If we have more people than accessible rooms available, we may ask if you are ok staying at a nearby hotel.
