Come to camp for 24 hours and have fellowship as we watch the Fellowship of Ring travel to Mordor and beyond! Starting with “Dinner” on Friday and watching The Fellowship of the Ring along with “Supper”, then we will take a rest before eating “Breakfast” and traveling to the Two Towers along with “Second Breakfast” and “Elevensies” leading into “Luncheon”. After all that, we will finish the day with The Return of the King and “Afternoon Tea” sending you home with a dragon hoard of memories.

We had a very engaged small group attend Earth Day at camp on Saturday, April 18th. The day began with a devotion based on Deuteronomy 10:14 (ESV) Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it. Camp Tamarack is looking to fill two positions this year: Cook – this person would help support the meals for the programming and retreats we have scheduled for this year. It is helpful if the person has restaurant or previous experience with ServSafe parameters. We would consider a week by week type schedule. Lifeguard – this person would support the waterfront needs for the programming and retreats we have scheduled as well as kitchen support with dishes. Some updates for 2026

Hi camp friends and family – just a few updates as we continue to ease in to 2026: Here is a link to the current camps/programming that are scheduled: https://camptamarack.org/2026-abcwi-camps/ A couple things to note are that Sr High and Junior/Jr High are happening during the same week as separate camps. Grandily and Primary/Middler are also being held during the same week in hopes that if we don’t have enough volunteer leaders, family’s can come and youth can still participate in the experience. Book Camp 2026 (Jan 1st – 3rd)

Book Camp registrations opened awhile ago and we have a good group signed up already, but there is still space! You can find the registration form here: https://camptamarack.org/reservations-forms/ Camp is already a winter wonderland so what better place to cozy up with a good book or two to start the new year. Tentative schedule is to arrive Thursday afternoon/evening to settle in and enjoy the hot chocolate bar. Friday has optional crafts and potential book club discussion with cheese tray that evening and book exchange. Saturday ends after lunch and a morning of reading.

Welcome Megan! Please join me in welcoming Megan Boettcher to the role of Facilities, Security and Hospitality Manager for Camp Tamarack. She joined the team last year as seasonal staff and came back this summer for a seasonal staff position and has been promoted to this role effective July 1st, 2025 Megan grew up in Columbus, WI attending an ELCA Lutheran church and was a part of the color guard in Marching Band, played volleyball, basketball and softball plus several school organizations. She attended UW – Green Bay and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education. Megan holds her teaching…
